Privacy Policy
Effective 25 October 2026. App: Idioms - Learn with Cartoons.
The app has no accounts. We do not collect your name, email or device identifiers, and we use no analytics, advertising or tracking.
1. What data is collected
- Stored on your phone: language and learning settings, nickname and avatar, favorites, learning history, review schedule, subscription status and daily free-quota counters.
- Picture requests: when a picture is not inside the app, it is requested from our image service. The request contains the idiom number and the learning language. Like any web request, it exposes your IP address to the server. We do not link it to you.
- Feedback: if you tap feedback, the app opens a mail draft addressed to us. If you send it, we receive your email address and what you wrote.
2. How it is used
- Phone data runs the app: your progress, favorites and reviews.
- Picture requests show you the picture.
- Feedback emails are used to answer you and fix problems.
3. Third parties
- Apple handles purchases, subscription status and restoring purchases. The app also asks Apple whether a newer app version exists, sending only the app identifier.
- iCloud: your learning data is copied to your own iCloud Drive. It stays in your Apple account and we cannot read it.
- Our image service runs on Cloudflare.
We share data with no one else.
4. Retention and deletion
Data on your phone stays until you delete the app. Data in iCloud Drive is yours to delete in iPhone Settings, under your name, iCloud, Manage Storage. We keep feedback emails only as long as needed to answer you; write to us to have yours deleted.
5. Withdrawing consent
Turn off iCloud for the app in iPhone Settings to stop syncing. Reminders are local notifications; turn them off in iPhone Settings, Notifications. Deleting the app removes its data from your phone.
